Jennifer Oz

Jennifer is a Professional Clinical Counselor Trainee and Graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at University of the Cumberlands. She earned her BA in Economics with a Markets and Management Studies Certificate at Duke University. While at Duke, mentorship and community were significant to Jennifer as she prioritized creating a safe and supportive environment for others.

Jennifer creates an empathetic space with her gentle curiosity as she utilizes strengths-based approaches to collaboratively explore her clients’ goals. Her experience working with youth survivors of trauma has contributed to her calm and narrative-based orientation. She is committed to understanding her clients’ unique voices as she individualizes sessions to meet various needs.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and long walks with her friends.
